Yesterday, I went to suntec with my boyfriend. He was really sweet to pay for the movie we watched as well as hello kitty things for me. He spent $120 on me. Very expensive when he earns only $400 in NS haha.

We ate our dinner at this korera resturant near eng hwa cinema at suntec. Other than the pancake, the rest sucks. Don't go there to eat!

Here are the food we took:

He bought for me this hello kitty puzzle which cost $21 and duno how many cents haha. We went to food court and piece the puzzle together within 1 hour.

However, just when we tried to put the last piece, the whole thing came off and I give up and decide to do it at home today haha!

I went back to work yesterday and bought my hello kitty boaster there. My collegues (all guys) were shaking their head and asked me to stop bring hello kitty things to office coz they can't stand it haha. I don't care I am going to bring this puzzle to office haha!

Yesterday, at lunch, my collegues asked if I am attached.
I kept quiet as I did not know how to answer.
He asked if it was zhen wei( my other collegues who is I think around my height and looks YOUNGER than me).
I replied it is not him and my collegues laughed and said," So you are attached lor!" !
I want to hide myself at that moment coz I just blured out myself haha!
My group team lead asked me,"Is my bf from Accenture or the project?".
I replied No.

It is totally normally for a 20 going to 21 girl to have a boyfriend rite?

I am going to celebrate evon's (my FYPJ friend) 21st birthday at Junction 8. I sharing with 2 other friends a necklace that is real silver. HAHA! Hopes she like it. I even told my team lead I can't OT on monday to attend her birthday dinner and he agreed.

Hope I can have a happy week up ahead!

These are some pictures taken while celebrating V day( the day before the actual day). He bought a cap for me and I love it nice?

On V day, after work, Zy and I went to watch break out. It was the best performance EVER. I just love the storyline and how it flows. Thank god we book early. I saw the shows were all full house and there were ppl willing to pay higher price for the tickets. Truly, speaking it is worth it!

After that, we crossed some bridge and chance upon this shop:

Here is the ice cream waffle I ordered:

Overall, the ice cream waffle is damn nice but the shop service sucks as I have to call the 2nd waitress to pay for my bill and when we entered the shop, none of the waiter bother about us, I wasted the service charge on such a lousy service.. I won't go back to that shop ever again.

Here is another photo I took of myself that day,Cool right? I took so many until zhiying got fed up and wonder why I like to take lots of picture of myself all the time haha!

Juz a quick update. I was told to come back today (Saturday and V day) Sucks right? HAHA! No choice. Haiz.... Life as programmer really sucks and I do not intend to be one after I finished uni haha. Even though I got to admit the pay is good.

Yesterday, I celebrated a early V day with him and guess what he treat me to swenson and bought a 'I love you ballon' and a cap I ALWAYS wanted from him haha. In return, I gave him a wallet only. Sounds pathetic right? He even told me not to spend so much money by getting a gift for him when he himself earns $400 a month in NS haha...

Hope my love life and work life turns out well.......

Yesterday, Tiffny suddenly called me to ask if I want to do foot message that cost $33. At first I hesitate as it is quite ex until she told me she help me pay abit. HAHA!

Anyway, we ate dinner first which is pizza hut that i suggested as I suddenly felt like eatting it. Then we proceed to the food message at some hotel that I can't remember.

It is $33 for an hour message and we decide to try foot and back message. Foot for 45 minutes and back for 15 minutes. Both Tiffny and I scream for the pain and the itchiness. It is only when I was there, I realized I hated itchiness.

Even though the message was a torture, I have to admit that after the message, my body felt much better and I do not have any more aching for my body. It was much more worth money than the fish spa I did last time.

Here is a song I want to recommend to all of you:

Backstreet Boys - Treat me right

I am going to go back to nyp and visit Mdm Lam later to pay her a visit and I might as well ask her about how to apply for uni and stand a better chance.

Wednesday, 4 February 2009

Today, I went to Qiyin's house to see what uni I can actually apply. I have decided to apply all the local uni namely: NUS, NTU, SMU and uniSIM and even SIM global(non local uni). I hope I can get into the local uni the most. Even if I can't get into the local uni, at least I can tell everyone I have tried applying.

I will be meeting Mdm Lam, the teacher from poly who recommended me to Accenture, this friday. Hopeful she can advice me about the uni application.

I can't wait to watch BREAK OUT on 14 feb! SO happy! I better bring my binoculus as I can gurantee it will be damn far from the stage.

Btw, thank you Adeline for your present! I love the tiny mug and Qiyin's dad for his ang bao!

Hope my leave will never end. Haiz... next monday have to start working again. I may not have time to blog even.

Today, Lina and I went to Shaw House Lido to watch 'The wedding game' by fann wong and christopher lee and here is the review:

Before I watch this movie, Lina and I had really high expectation since it is the biggest celebrities in Singapore acting in this movie.

The starting was interesting and I just love the flow at the award ceremony where Christ won the best actor award (except the fake scene behind at the award ceremony) to the part on how they actually hated each other and was fooling everyone as if they are getting married for real for the sake of money and fame.

The funniest part is actually on the bed scene on how they need to pretend loving in front of reporters and yet fighting each other.

Then, here comes the most lame part of the movie: They need to get to know each other as much as possible within 3 days for the sake of a game show.

I almost fell asleep at that part. It was such a common storyline and LAME! That was when I felt I spent my money for nothing.

The ending sort of got slightly better but not as good as the beginning.

The storyline was quite common as it is similar to my sassy girl (a girl fighting with a guy) and some Singaporean dramas like sayang sayang (married for a motive).

The acting was excellent due to the chemistry they already have and even the supporting actors like hei ren. The direction was cool as it make me felt I am watching a world class standard. Visuals was only average as there is nothing impressive to me.

If you want to watch this movie, you will enjoy the show at the beginning due the jokes but I will not guarantee that from then onwards.

Sunday, 1 February 2009

I was watching My Girl, a korean drama. It is soooo nice! HAHA! I know it is a drama long ago. I recommend u all to watch it.

Here is the quite detailed storyline:

Joo Yoorin (Lee Da Hae) is a tour guide in a small company in charge of running mini tours in the Jeju Island of South Korea. Her father is a gambling addict, but despite all the debts that he runs up, Yoorin always finds a way to help repay them. She leads a below-average life but is happy as long as she has her dad around her. Because of her father's gambling ways, she has had to move from country to country whenever her father runs from one place to another to avoid their debtors. This has in turn brought her the ability to converse fluently in Chinese and Japanese, which are of great help as a tour guide whenever she has to entertain tourists from China and Japan.

Seol Gongchan (Lee Dong Wook) is the only heir of the owner of L'Avenuel Hotel, which is one of the top hotels in Korea. His grandfather, Seol Woong, charges him with the duty of finding his granddaughter, who is also Gongchan's cousin. Seol Woong had disowned his own daughter, Gongchan's aunt, when she decided to marry a man not of his choice. However, when Seol Woong had a change of heart and wished to accept his daughter back, an earthquake struck where his daughter lived, and since then, he has lost all contact with his kin and perhaps the chance to make amends for his own stubbornness, to take care of his granddaughter and hopefully make things right.

Kim Seohyun (Park Si Yeon) is the girlfriend of Seol Gongchan. A rising star in the tennis world, she returns to Korea to look for Gongchan as she cannot forget him.

Seo Jung Woong (Lee Jun Ki) is the son of one of the main shareholders of L'Avenuel Hotel and also the best friend of Seol Gongchan. Unlike Gongchan who is responsible and hardworking, Jung Woong is a flirt who is known to have many girlfriends.

The story starts with Yoorin rushing to the airport. She is helping her friend delay a flight so that the tourists of her friend will not miss their flight. Out of ideas, she plays a damsel in distress, who is apparently mourning her impending death and her dying wish to see her boyfriend who is apparently on the flight. And so after much crying and the entire airport empathizing with her, she gets to get on board the plane to look for her boyfriend who never really existed. As she walks, she realizes she cannot find anyone and pretends to faint. Alas, she faints beside the seat of our male lead, Seol Gongchan, who knows a liar when he sees one. Although their first encounter is weird, it doesn't leave much of an impression in each other's mind.

Later, however, when Gongchan has to entertain a bunch of Chinese visitors and realizes he has no translator, he engages the services of Yoorin coincidentally and through Yoorin, his potential Chinese investors have a great time at the L'Avenuel Hotel branch in Jeju, and Yoorin has much credit to claim for it.

After a series of comical events including Yoorin staying at his hotel lodge without paying, and Yoorin selling his hotel fruityard's oranges to make a small profit (to clear her father's debts again), Gongchan's impression of Yoorin is one of a cheat and he would want to do anything to distance himself from her.

But then word from mainland Korea is that his grandfather is dying and at his bedside, Seol Woong, through his respirator, can only meekly repeat that he must not and cannot die until he sees his granddaughter again.

Driven by desperation and his love for his grandfather, Gongchan will do anything to ease his burden. When pointed out by his secretary that Yoorin bears a resemblance to his aunt, Gongchan hatches a plan to pass off Yoorin as his grandfather's long-lost granddaughter whilst he carries on searching for the real one.

Yoorin, who is desperate for money to repay her father's debt, is unwilling to do the job as it involves lying to a dying man, something that she staunchly refuses to do. But when Seol Gongchan desperately begs her and she realizes she is somewhat indebted to him for not bringing her to the police after her little business in his hotel, she caves in and pretends to the long-lost granddaughter.

And so things seem to be going well, with the search for Gongchan's long-lost cousin making progress and perhaps more importantly, the improvement of Gongchan's grandfather's conditions thanks to Yoorin. As Yoorin spends more time with Gongchan's family, she gets showered with the love she never received as a child and finds herself drawn to Gongchan. She finds herself changing from the liar that she once was to a person who tries to tell the truth when she can. But she knows all too well that her one-sided love will never materialize as the difference in social status between Gongchan and herself is too big.

But unknown to her, Gongchan is also slowly being drawn to her...

I am going to watch with my friend, The Wedding Game by fann wong and christ tommorrow. So exictied to watch it and hopfully it is nice.
