Yesterday was my last day in Accenture and I had a memorable farewell.

Afternoon, during lunch time, everyone in my team went to Miriam or Marima hotel to eat dim sum buffet. I took many individual pictures with each of my colleagues and had a great time there. My farewell speech is short and sweet and I just wanted to finish it ASAP.

I didn't know they prepared gift for me:
It is the same as the hello kitty container I brought to office just that there are biscuits and candies inside it.

When my colleagues told me to open the card to read, I wondered where is the card until they told me it was inside the file:

As you noticed, one side of the page is the messages from all my colleagues and the other side are the pictures of how my hello kitty was bullied haha! I cried when I received this card when I saw how much they would miss me after I leave. I never thought I will cry that day as I thought I am so insignificant and nobody will miss me. R, my another colleague actually said is there a need to cry. Girls cries easily ok?

My colleague actually spend so much effort making this card. Yes, this card is actually handmade by one of them. I really appreciate them for their effort.

At night, I went for my company event. After some long and boring speech, my project manager actually called my friends and I to go on stage to sing the song 'Thats What Friends Are For'. If you are not sure, go youtube. HAHA! I was so happy that they are willing to celebrate my farewell with me.

However, after the song, each and everyone of us in the team had to drink a cup of BEER! All the guys in my team drank finished the beer except me who left another 1/4 of beer to go. Brandon, my group team lead, actually took my cup and drank on my behalf. The project manager was like saying,"Oh my god, you are drinking for Hera. Oh my sorry, I forgot you are married Brandon".

I laughed when I heard that haha. At that moment I felt Brandon was SUPER GENTLEMAN compare to the rest of the guys in my team haha!

However, I went to the toilet to vomit as I can't stand the beer with all the buffet food haha!

Now I can OFFICIALLY SLACK AND RELAX!! I even went shopping with Zy and Qy to amk hub and bugis and bought a shiny high heel as a reward for myself..... YEPPIE! Now I can also catch all the drama or shows I miss on TV!

Today is my 3rd last day from work. My team lead still send me work to do with some stupid document to update. ON MY 3RD LAST DAY!!!

Haiz..... No need to think about slacking on the last few days of my work lor.

Yesterday, I even OT till 11pm plus for some documentation and had to go home by cab which cost me $12 and I can't claim anymore as I had submitted my time report. HAIZ....

Today, my colleagues gave me a hello kitty cake (small one enough for me to eat only). The cake was put on my laptop after I came back from lunch with a note on the box "For Hera, Please eat me". I asked everyone in my team who put the cake on my laptop but they said they didn't know and it must be my secret admirer.

That was until my another colleague msn me and told me it is them who bought for me and they combined the money for the cake. I bet my other colleagues just want to fool me into thinking I had a secret admirer haha!

Tommorrow is my 2nd last day and I still feels stress about it..... Haiz.......! Anyway, looking forward to Friday now.

Today is 24 May and I AM SO HAPPY! I am going to leave Accenture in 5 days time haha!

You know what is the most surprised news on 29 May? I will have a farewell buffet lunch and after work, there will be a company event for karaoke session at Safra Mount faber. But I heard my team mates wants to have karaoke elsewhere within our team only. One of my colleague even said that my last day super happening. After farewell lunch, just slack a few hours then can go karaoke haha! I am not sure will I be going for the karaoke coz after I return my laptop at HQ (raffles city). I was actually allowed to go home... I think see how first.

My colleague , Yeok Teck (the guy who always bully my hello kitty), he saw my playing restaurant city(facebook game) in office. In this game, you can 'hire' your friends to be waiter, cook or cleaner. He told me at his resturant, he hire me to be his CLEANER!!! The type that need to pick up rubbish and WASH THE TOILET! I actually saw myself washing the toilet at his resturant. HAHA! Pick up rubbish is fine but washing toilet????

Actually, I will definately miss my colleagues like how they bully me can call me kitty and bully my hello kitty haha! To them, I am forever a kid in the team (those type that never grows up) haha!

I am buying cleocats again and I am buying this hello kitty T-SHIRT.

Zhiying told me that I can try wear it on my last day and see how my colleagues react... I am actually seriously considering it haha!

I will be cutting my hair ard mid june to end june as I am waiting for qiyin so that we can cut our hair at Xclusive at far east plaza together. I heard from my colleagues that alot of ppl said it was good and it is cheaper than Kimage. Xclusive charges cut and wash for $30 but Kimage charges $38 for same service. I heard the owner was a senior hairstylist in Kimage in the past and came out with some other hairstylist there to start his own salon. So it is like having Kimage service for a cheaper price haha!

If my hair turns out good, I am sooo going to advertise it to EVERYONE! Reds and Jeric salon are good but super ex.... I need to go cheap salons now haha!

Another 5 days and I AM GONE FROM ACCENTURE! HAHA! I am so god damn happy lor that even my colleagues can tell I am happy to leave. I know I confirm emo for first week but will be fine later haha!

Lets hope my life ahead will be better than this.....

I received SMU letter and I am rejected... as expected haha! No hope in local unis for me. Heng I got into unisim lor. HAHA!

I got home early today from work. I just want to come home early to rest haha!

My dad received an email from MOH stating that he can register to get free flu vaccine. My dad and mum immediately register for that haha! My mum asked me to come along but I told her I am not a dentist or clinic assitant so I am not eligible for it haha!

I wish Friday quickly comes...No it should be MAY 29!!! 11 DAYS TO LEAVE ACCENTURE! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Yesterday, I was at douby ghaut mrt waiting for my FYPJ friends as some of them will be late. I saw there was a blood donation going on and so I decided to donate my blood while waiting for them.

I register, filled up all the forms with soo many questions and even pass through the health check by doctor and blood test by the nurse.

However, when I was supposed to lie there to draw the blood, the nurse came to me to find my vein. She said my vein is too small to poke and not suitable to donate my blood coz my vein may burse when the needle is poke. Haiz.... I heard my friends told me they can't donate coz their calcium or lead not enough in their blood but vein too small? HAHA! First time I heard it myself.

Anyway, after that we went mind cafe (Yes, AGAIN!) to play board games. This time it is different coz we played games that we shout haha! I always end up losing when comes to snatching of bones lor! HAHA!

After that, I went to Jessica (my sec classmate)'s 21st birthday. I saw many of my ex classmates and all said I changed completely haha!

On Monday, my mum called me and told me I got NTU letter. She opened it up while on the phone talking to me and it turns out I got rejected. I could tell my mum is disappointed even though she kept saying she prefer I go to unisim coz it is shorter time there.

Today, I receive another letter from NUS about my application. This time, it is my dad. He called me happily saying I received NUS letter and when he read in happy tone," Thank you for your application with NUS". However, when reach this phrase, my dad starts say sadly ,"But I am sorry to inform you that your application to NTU is not successful".

I told him that he put too much expectation on me getting into NUS haha! I can understand la. My dad used to be from university of Singapore now known as NUS. Of coz he wants his only daughter to be in same uni as him. As for my mum, she heck care coz she did not even went uni haha!

Today, I am suppose to give brief my codes on Zerorisation (the module I am doing at work) to my 2 colleagues as previously, it was done by me ONLY. I tot the briefing will only take 10 to 15 minutes. And it turns out to take 1 and half hour and we only completed half way. I guess I will need to spend the entire day to walk through the entire process with them. They even said they will look at my house to ask about Zerorisation if I cant be contactable after I leave Accenture. WHAT THE HELL! HAHA!

Oh yeah, I bought this Utada album today coz I went to HMV and I LOVED ALL THE SONGS! Truly speaking, I always download songs if I only like 1 to 3 songs of 1 album as it is not worth the money. But since I love all her songs, I might as well buy it and support anti-privacy? HAHA!

In office, I wore a pink tube dress with a pink coat and HELLO KITTY pink shoe as posted in my previous post. My colleague, Pacey saw me and covered his eyes as if he saw something too glaring for his eyes and said what I wore is too bright for him. What a joker right? haha

Today, I left office around 4.30pm to make my way to raffles city tower(Accenture HQ) to get a bunch of people to sign my exit checklist(the checklist needed to be done before officially leaving accenture) and hand in my sign-on bonus cheque. I went up to level 35 and then went down to level 32 and went up level 35 then went down again to get them to sign. How ma fan can it be haha!

My dad told me today that my mum had been grumbling that Accenture is taking back the money and she had been really bad mood since yesterday when I asked my dad to help me to issue the cheque. My dad even told me not to cut her allowance this month to stop her grumbling.... Haiz... No choice..

Btw, I had decided to buy a light laptop no matter what......If not, I won't buy coz I am influenced by what Tiffny said. It is better to get a light laptop than get a heavy laptop that I carry away like stone. HAHA! IT SHOW HERE I COME!

Tommorrow is a super busy day for me. At 12PM, I am meeting my FYPJ friends at plaza sing to MIND CAFE! I cant wait to go there as I had lots of fun last time! I am so recommending lots of my friends to go there and it is CHEAP! Like only $5 on weekday juz to play the games with cookies and drink provided but weekend of coz more ex and I not sure of the price yet. The last time I went together with food(really sucks cripsy chicken), it cost only $15.

At 6.30pm, I will be meeting zy and qy to go to Jessica (my sec classmate)'s 21st birthday party and I dragged them to come with me coz I scared to go alone and awarked there haha! SORRY ZY and QY!

Btw, I am buying more clothes from cleocats again... The clothes I got are good for now and I like it.....HAHA!

I registered to take my basic theory test on June 10 at 3.15pm. Hope I can pass it!

I can't wait to cut my hair soon. Around first week of June as I think my hair is abit too long to maintain and I want to get a slightly different fringe. I intend to go to those cheap place this time unlike last time when everything inluding cut, dye and highlight caused me $200. Hopefully, the cut will cost less than $20. See how!

Today, I went to Fish&Co at Park Mall with Lina and Lydia. Lydia and I wanted to give Lina a birthday surprise and she was indeed surprised although we did a very bad job in surprising her haha! She loved the presents we bought for her! HAHA!

Today is Vesak day and I still need to go back to office and work. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Haiz... Life really sucks at my company as they even expect us to work on public holiday. Thank god I am leaving in 20 days time and I am counting down!!

I definately will miss my colleagues coz they are all so nice to me. But I still need to face my performance review this monday by K which I know it will be a super bad review. Who care? Cheer up Hera! HAHA!

Just now, my grandma treat my family to this resturant call Ah Yat and it was really nice. Whenever there is extra food, my parents keep passing me those food. That was when I realised the reason why I can never be slim... HAHA!

I am going to hang out with my close friends tml. I wonder what movie will we be watching? I hope it is not star trek haha!

Today, I went to office as usual when I saw this:


The culprit for it is PACEY! My team mate! Even the cleaner saw it and told me she laughed when she saw it!

My another Colleague, Wei Liang came to work on Sunday and saw this. He quickly took a picture of this and send to EVERYONE in the team haha!

I bet everyone will miss my hello kitty once I leave the company HAHA! Maybe I should leave my hello kitty there for them to disturb it. HAHA!

I called the HR today to asked is my resgination letter being processed and she said it is. She also informed me about the flexible work arrangement like working only 3 days a week instead of my current 5 days a week.

I was hesitant whether should I really quit but after much consideration, it is better to stick to the plan and quit. I am suppose to work for 5 days but actually, I am 6 days now. So what is the point of torturing myself by actually working 3 days but end up working 5 days again?

I already had so much plan after I quit Accenture on May 29.

I am going to SHOPPING at bugis, Tampanies and even going to Mind Cafe again with my friends. I also will be going to Kbox, going to IT show to buy laptop and take my basic theory test. Sounds like June will pass by really fast.

However, I will need to wait for May to pass first which is SUPER LONG!

Today, I went to Marina Square's GV to watch Wolverine with Tiffny. I read the review and friend's recommendation on how good this movie is. After I watched it, I LOVED IT! Even a non- hugh jackman fan like me is suddenly SOOOO into him coz he is HOT!!! OMG! RECOMMENDED BY ME TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!

Tiffny and I tried fish spa and we felt so ticklish that we kept on saying," OMG! SHIT!" But after a while, we got used to it. Tiffny in fact loved the after-effect so much that she even recommended to her mum. HAHA!

Yesterday, I went to Mind Cafe at douby ghaut with my friend and colleague. The game is super fun (provided if know how to play) but the food is SUCKS! I ordered crispy chicken and I can taste that it is actually frozen chicken though crispy. Although it is not the worse crispy chicken I had eaten, it is the first chicken that I could feel it is frozen as outside is cold while inside is warm. However, I will still go there with my friends and recommend you guys to go for the games only and not the food.

Thank god, I got the members card so I can get 10% discount when I am there. HAHA!

Today, I met up with Dawn, Ling Ling and Jing Xuan (all of them are my poly FYPJ friends) at city hall MRT. We went to this Japanese pasta resturant to eat and the food was not bad. Jing Xuan shared with us alot of NS funny jokes and we had a great time.

After which, we went to arcard to play the cars and Jing Xuan always got first while I always got 3rd haha!

Then, we walked to this beautiful, deserted and spacious walkway at marina square and took lots of super nice to super funny (pictures that ling ling is in) pictures. If I am not wrong, we took for 1 hour plus before making our way to Xin Wang Cafe to take a seat and drink.

Dawn left and jx, 00 and I went to watch this movie, Taken.

Here is my review:

Personally, I find the movie SUPER NICE! The main reason is because it get straight to the point. Unlike other movies where they keep dragging lots of parts, they just cut the chase and quickly focus on the main points. The only thing I dislike about this movie is that the good guy always gets away from the bullets while the enemies ALWAYS get shots with his gun.

This man was an ex FBI agent and when his daughter witness his friend getting kidnapped in their apartment while they were on the phone, he quickly told her to hide under the bed in another room. Other fathers will say things to console the daughter in this situation like you will be save or everything will be over soon, however he did not said these. Instead, he told her that she will be taken away from those bad guys and even told her to say out loud their description(like eye colour or tatoo) when she is taken by those bad guys.

I believe this movie is realistic and cool. It can happen to anyone of us, provided your dad has those FBI skills. What my friend, tiffny also said correctly. The male lead is not a good guy who won't kill the innocent. He will kill anyone who gets into his way or even hurting the wife of the man he wants to gets the information from in order to save his daughter. Whereas in other movie, you can expect the male lead letting the innocent off or just let the bad guy scott free.

I will be watching Wolverine tommorrow with Tiffny at Cathay cineleasia at Douby gaut. She said we do not need to book in advance and just book the tickets tml on the spot. Hopefully, what she said is correct and we are able to get not-first-two-rows seat.

I am having super high expectation for Wolverine movie given all the reviews I read from it. I believe that reading the reviews of commoners (non-critics) is more realiable than those critics .I had been reading the reviews and realised that if critics give high rating for those movie, it turns out boring whereas if it is a good rating from critics, it turns out really nice and interesting. HAHA! I always share about the same opinion as those non-critics.
